REGISTRATION

Do I write the ABC Test?

The ABC Test is a required component of the intern application process, as well as the specified scope of practice licence application process.

Students

If you have written the ABC Test as a student, and have not let your registration lapse, your result can be counted towards your pre-registration program.

If you allowed your student enrollment with the Association to lapse prior to joining the pre-registration program, you must rewrite the test.

Specified Scope of Practice Applicants

Specified Scope of Practice applicants must complete the ABC Test as part of their application process.

US Temporary Licence - Mandatory Rewrites

US Temporary Licensees must write the ABC Test, then rewrite the test every three years.

US Mobility

First-time US Mobility applicants are required to write the ABC Test.

Reinstatement

If you are reinstating as a professional Member and you did not resign in good standing with the Association, you must write/rewrite the ABC Test.

If you are reinstating as an Intern and you resigned in good standing with the Association, you must write/rewrite the ABC Test.

If you are reinstating as a professional Member (including Canadian and US Mobility) and you resigned in good standing with the Association, you are not required to write the ABC Test.

Academic Assessment Applicants

The ABC Test will be activated once you get access to your online profile.

Canadian Mobility

Canadian Mobility applicants are not required to write the ABC Test.
