REGISTRATION

Reinstatement and Resuming Active Practice

Former Association members, licensees, and interns may reinstate without completing the full application process, based on their last status with the Association.

Former Professional Members and Licensees

Read this Guide before applying for professional member or licensee reinstatement or resuming active practice, if you are not currently registered with another regulator.

Complete and submit this form to apply for reinstatement and resume active practice in Manitoba, including those currently registered with other regulators (Reinstatement Mobility).

If membership has lapsed for more than 2 years, and applicant is not currently registered with another regulator, three references are required.

Former Interns

Complete and submit this form if you are a former intern of the Association applying for reinstatement.

On Leave Members

If you are a member On Leave who wishes to resume practising status, please contact the ProDev Coordinator.

The Continuing Competency Committee (CCC) will consider your application and may advise you to comply with certain conditions prior to resuming unrestricted practice. When you have received the CCC's acceptance to resume active practice, you are required to engage in professional development activities beginning on your resumption date.

Professional Practice Exam (PPE)

If you are a former professional engineer or geoscientist seeking reinstatement or return to active practice, and you have never written a Professional Practice Exam, you must write the National PPE, unless you have over 10 years of registered practice in Canada.

Fees

All reinstatement and return to active practice applications are subject to the reinstatement fee. Payment of the de-registration fee is also required if member, licensee, or intern status was terminated due to non-payment of dues.
