MEMBER REGISTRATION

Step 5: National Professional Practice Exam

You must pass the Professional Practice Exam (PPE) to be eligible to register as a Professional Member of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (Step 6) unless:

  • You passed the PPE through another Canadian association
    OR
  • You registered with another Canadian association prior to the implementation of the PPE and are currently registered elsewhere in Canada
    OR
  • You have over 10 years of registered practise in Canada and are currently reinstating with the Association

About the Exam

The PPE is:

  • A computer based national exam
  • Based on professionalism, law and ethics
  • A two and a half-hour, 110 question multiple-choice exam

The NPPE is offered in Manitoba three times a year. Write dates and registration deadlines can be found on the exam registration page in your online profile, or the Events Calendar
