The Seventh Annual MLA Reception
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba hosted its seventh annual MLA Reception in Winnipeg. This event provided an excellent opportunity for numerous insightful dialogues about the engineering and geoscientific professions. The annual MLA Reception is a cornerstone event for the members of the Association, including the Council, past presidents, and committee members. 2024 Volunteer Appreciation Night
On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba celebrated Association volunteers at The Manitoba Museum Planetarium for our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Night. Attendees gathered for refreshments and networking before watching the Manitoba Skies Planetarium show. For more information about the event, please see our news story. Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba Family Legacy Bursary Draw
EngGeoMB is now accepting applications for the 2024 Family Legacy Bursary Draw. Five bursary prizes are given to the children of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members. Applicants must be enrolled full time in first-year engineering or geoscience studies. The application deadline is September 1, 2024. 2024 Draft By-law Proposals
After engagement with membership, through open engagement sessions and third-party focus groups, and review by the By-law Review Committee, legal counsel for the Association has drafted the following by-law changes and requests feedback from the membership. Engineers Canada Awards David Ennis, P.Eng., FEC, the Meritorious Service Award for Professional Service
Nominated by their peers and colleagues, the Engineers Canada Awards recognize the exceptional work and achievements of leaders in engineering. Through entrepreneurship, engineering education, research, community involvement, and the advancement of women in engineering, these recipients are igniting change for a better world. Wine and Cheese Event and Presentation to the Our Future Campaign Stars - Wednesday, June 12, 2024
The Indigenous Chapter of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will be hosting a wine and cheese event along with a presentation of posters to the campaign stars of the Our Future campaign.
