EngGeoMB Mentorship Centre Open House and Ribbon Cutting
On January 12, 2023, the Association invites you to our office at 870 Pembina Highway for the official opening of the new Mentorship Centre! From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., you can stop by the building to network with other members, enjoy some drinks and snacks, and take a tour of our new Mentorship Centre on the second floor. With a variety of formal and informal meeting spaces, the centre is designed as a flexible space to meet and work. Have Your Say On Climate Resilience Training
In February and March of 2023, the Manitoba Climate Resilience Training (MCRT) Project Team at Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba will be delivering updated and new courses that will help you enhance your professional practices to respond to climate changes, with an emphasis on mitigation, including greenhouse gas reduction. As the team looks to find and develop more courses, they are seeking your input. Complete this 5-minute MCRT Survey provided by Probe Research to have your say on which subjects would be most useful to you and whether you would prefer to have training delivered online, in person, or hybrid.

The Manitoba Energy Code for Buildings course is intended for building inspectors, contractors, design professionals, and anyone working in the construction sector who wants a greater understanding of the energy code. Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) Document Webinar - Construction Management - January 19, 2023
This webinar will give an overview and comparison of construction management (CM) methods focusing on CCDC 5A and CCDC 17. The webinar will discuss the differences between this method and using CCDC 5B, a contract for services and construction for which the construction manager engages trade contractors as subcontractors and is responsible for their performance.
