New Website Launched for the National Professional Practice Exam
A new standalone website for the National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) is now available. Launched by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), the new website is a hub for information on how to prepare for the NPPE, exam dates, and FAQs. Association members needing to write the NPPE should continue to visit our website for eligibility, pricing, and how to register for the exam.

Junior Achievement Manitoba - Volunteer Advisors Needed
The After School Company Program gives high school students the opportunity to run their own small business in collaboration with professional mentors/advisors, giving them the excitement and experience for a future career as an entrepreneur. Junior Achievement Manitoba is seeking mentors/advisors to guide students to success by sharing knowledge and experiences and to provide support and encouragement. Mentors/advisors need to be available once a week from November 2022 to April 2023 in the evening and be able to attend a 90-minute training session. WestEnd Board Positions - Multiple Board Positions
The WestEnd Commons is a non-profit housing corporation that offers affordable rental units to families in the West End as well as operating a Neighbourhood Resource Centre. The WestEnd Commons is currently seeking board members to attend monthly meetings on a 3-year term. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month in the evening. Board members are also expected to join at least one working committee. Experience in fundraising, finances, and building maintenance are especially valuable at this time. Housing is an issue in Winnipeg right now, and this is your opportunity to be a part of the solution. The Arab Members Chapter of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba invites you to a PMP(TM) (Project Management Professional) certification training course. Certificates of 35 training hours will be provided upon successful completion of the course. These hours can be claimed towards the requirements to apply for PMP(TM) exam. Structural Innovation and Monitoring Technologies Resource Centre (SIMTReC) Group Innovation Day - October 26, 2022
Join a gathering of consulting engineers, contractors, suppliers of advanced composite materials, and government representatives who are the owners of the infrastructure that SIMTReC Group is endeavoring to monitor and/or rehabilitate. Also in attendance will be professors who serve as Project Leaders for the SIMTReC Group research program, and their graduate students.
