This survey is part of a cross-national (Canada, Sweden, and Germany) and cross-sector (private, public, and academia) study of women's retention and advancement in engineering and information technology careers. Our objective is to achieve a better understanding of the factors that support women's retention and career success (e.g., work-family balance, network access, and a workplace that's free from harassment and discrimination). The project team is headed by Dr. Tracey Peter (Vice-Provost, Academic Affairs, and professor of sociology) with Dr. Annemieke Farenhorst (Associate Vice-President, Research) serving as co-investigator - both of whom are professors at the University of Manitoba in Canada.
