ProDev Guide Update: Caregiving Activities
The ProDev Guide has recently been updated to include information regarding Caregiving Activities. Under the Categories/Activities portion of the ProDev Guide, a new portion of text has been added under the Participation section. This new information includes acting on behalf of a person within the medical, educational, financial, or other system, managing a person's care or finances, and more. Affiliation with an Association Chapter
Did you know that all practitioners can affiliate with an Association chapter? You are invited to affiliate with any of the Association's chapters through your online member profile. Affiliation with a chapter is not exclusively based on ethnicity or location. Anyone can join any chapter for mutual support, networking, and special events. Choose a chapter and get involved today!

Introduction to Digital Seals and Electronic Document Authentication
Hosted by Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba on April 20, 2022, in this virtual session, attendees were introduced to the key ingredients to ensure electronic document reliability from a legal perspective, the different signature technologies available on the market and the varying levels of reliability of each, what is specific about EngGeoMB's digital signature certificates, its benefits, and how it is used to authenticate professional work products in accordance with EngGeoMB Guidelines for Use of Professional Seal. Professional Development Opportunities
Spring Member Engagement Session - May 17, 2022
The Council of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba invites all practitioners to an online engagement session to be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. This session will be held on Zoom, with limited spaces to attend in-person. The purpose of this meeting is to report on the activities of Council with topics such as the report from the President, Act Amendment and By-laws, Governance Review, and more. Lunch 'n' Learn - Introduction to Professionalism - May 19, 2022
Join EngGeoMB's Director of Professional Standards, Michael Gregoire, P.Eng., FEC, for this in-person Lunch 'n' Learn session exploring the topic of professionalism. Intended to deepen learning and provide a forum for group discussion, all attendees are required to have completed the online learning module 'Introduction to Professionalism' prior to this event. This event is offered free of charge for those who wish to bring their own lunch (coffee and soft drinks available). For those who prefer to have their lunch provided, there is an optional lunch offered for $13 plus GST when booked before noon on Tuesday, May 17.
