Looking Back Through Our Century: December 2003
On New Year's Eve of 2003, Esplanade Riel, Winnipeg's new pedestrian bridge, opened to foot traffic. The pedestrian bridge was part of the $72 million Provencher Twin Bridges project, which included a new four-lane divided vehicular bridge as well as new roadways and sidewalks. ProDev Deadline for 2020
This is a reminder for those in the General, Licensee, and Specified Scope of Practice Licensee member categories that the deadline to record ProDev activities for the 2018 to 2020 evaluation period is December 31, 2020. Please log in to your online profile and record your activities if you have not already done so.

Need additional ProDev hours? It's not too late to access the Ingenium On-Demand Library which includes all the live and exclusively recorded sessions from Ingenium 2020. BRACE Program - Climate Resiliency Capacity Building for Manitoba Decision-Makers is Coming Soon!
Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, in partnership with Natural Resources Canada and the Manitoba Government, is working to achieve the objectives of the Building Regional Adaptation Capacity and Expertise (BRACE) Program. The project team will help design a comprehensive training course to enable engineers and other infrastructure decision-makers to integrate climate resiliency into their designs and practice. Nominating Committee - Multiple Positions
The Nominating Committee assists Council in identifying election candidates who meet the criteria for councillors as described in the Governance Policy in a manner consistent with the Act and By-laws and taking into consideration the broadest possible diversity of the membership. The Committee is recruiting for five new members: one intern (engineering or geoscience) and four professional members, one of which needs to be a professional geoscientist.
