Looking Back Through Our Century: May 1997
In early May of 1997, Manitobans were recovering from the most severe flood since 1826. The Flood of the Century caused 28,000 people to be evacuated and $500 million in damage to property and infrastructure. To learn more about the Flood of the Century, see the news story.
