On June 1, 2024, at the 84th Meeting of the Board of
Directors of Geoscientists Canada, held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Christine
Vaillancourt, P.Geo., FGC, took office as President for the 2024-2025 year
after serving a year as President-Elect. When commenting on her new role as
President, Ms. Vaillancourt indicated that she is looking forward to working
