2023 Annual General Meeting and Annual Awards Ceremony
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba welcomed
Kathryn Atamanchuk, P.Eng., as the new Association President for 2023-2024.
The Association also welcomed three new members to Council at the Annual General Meeting:
Carol Martiniuk, P.Geo., Kyle Ward, EIT, and Steven Wu, P.Eng.
On Friday, October 20, 2023, nine awards were presented to outstanding individuals and companies at the Annual Awards Ceremony.

When and How Should Leaders Respond to Workplace Incivility? -

Join the Manitoba 2030 Coalition for a presentation by Lukas Neville
about what we know from the research on civility and incivility at
work and a practical discussion about the most effective ways of
preventing and responding to it in your workplace. Monitoring and
adjusting your own behaviour is an important piece of the puzzle,
but as leaders and future leaders in an organization, you need to
take action across the company as well.

2023 Filipino Members Chapter's Bowling Fundraising Event -
October 28, 2023
This fundraising event is organized to raise funds to support
the chapter’s deserving scholars and other activities and events.
All the scholarship recipients are engineering students from
the University of Manitoba and interns (EIT or GIT)
who are immigrants from the Philippines with an engineering
degree and are pursuing to become professional members
(P.Eng. or P.Geo.) in Manitoba, Canada.
