Provincial 2023 Registration Review Evaluation Report & Amendments to The Fair Registration Practices in Regulation Act
The Manitoba Government released the
2023 Registration Review Report for Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba,
as part of its efforts to review 31 self-regulated professions in Manitoba for compliance with
The Fair Registration Practices in Regulation Act
and identify areas of improvement. The report highlights EngGeoMB's achievements and
efforts to ensure fair and transparent registration practices, and recommendations to help
reduce barriers to registration for both Canadian mobility and internationally-educated applicants.
The Manitoba Government also recently amended the Act to enhance expectations around labour
mobility and registration processes. For more information, please see our

Girls in Robotics Lab (G.I.R.L.) - Free Summer Workshops -
August 2023
WISE Kid-Netic Energy is partnering with Intelligent Digital Manufacturing Lab at the
Price Faculty of Engineering to bring forth the Girls in Robotics Lab this August.
The opportunity gives high school girls a chance to learn about coding, robots,
and the associated terminology this summer. The outreach program from the University
of Manitoba encourages girls' participation in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
Each session is one day, and you can choose any of the Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in August.

Electronic Document Authentication and Sealing Guidelines for Licensed Professionals -

In this presentation, Notarius will present the
different electronic signature solutions available on the market and the
different levels of reliability of each. Finally, they will present EngGeoMB
requirements for electronic documentation and sealing to ensure high level of
legal reliability for professional documents. The presentation will also include
a short demonstration of the proposed solution for EngGeoMB licensed
