All practitioners are encouraged to share their input in this year's Practitioner Survey, which is now available
online.
The survey is anonymous, should take no more than five minutes to complete, and the feedback provided is invaluable as the Association strives to continue to grow and support our practitioners.
With the announcement by the Manitoba government that mass
gatherings such as concerts, festivals, and major sporting events will not be considered before September 2020 and taking into account the ongoing travel restrictions, the large number of guests invited,
as well as the physical distancing recommendations for public spaces, the Association has decided it is prudent to cancel the previously postponed Centennial Recognition Gala. While we are disappointed,
with this uncertainly we are unable to guarantee that our event could occur in the celebratory format we planned to mark this momentous occasion. All previously purchased tickets and sponsorships will be
refunded by the end of June.
As part of the Association's Centennial Community Outreach, we have sponsored a Habitat for Humanity Build Day. We are looking for approximately 30 volunteers who are available for the full day. No previous experience or equipment is needed. All that is required is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. COVID-19 protocols will be followed on the jobsite at all times. For more information and to register, see the
event listing.
This 30-minute webinar, offered by Engineers and
Geoscientists BC, will focus on how adaptive leadership can help individuals and
organizations learn anew and thrive during this crisis period. For more
information, see the
event listing.
